Instructor - Tony Pietrantonio

I would like to briefly introduce myself. My name is Italino “Tony” Pietrantonio. I have served for 22 years first as a Combat Engineer and then as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant in the US Army. My career was centered around explosives and their uses. Along the way, I became interested in the effects of water when combined with explosives. I have participated in numerous events where water and explosives were combined to create devastating effects. I began diving in 2008 recreationally and later joined the Harnett County Underwater Search and Recovery Dive Team. I have combined my knowledge of diving with the knowledge of explosives and hope to share for safety. I am now retired and affiliated with Air Hogs Scuba and enjoy diving on all levels.
